What ages is Crayon Currency best for?
We designed Crayon Currency for kids roughly 4–10 years old. Younger kids love the coloring and simple earn-and-trade game, while older kids connect more with the storylines and goal-setting prompts. Siblings can easily play together with small tweaks you’ll find in the parent guide.
How much time does it take each week?
Most families use Crayon Currency for 15–30 minutes, 1–3 times per week. That could look like one short story at bedtime, plus a weekend game session tied to chores or outings. You’re always in control of how often you use it.
Is this a curriculum tied to any specific money philosophy?
No. Crayon Currency is values-friendly and flexible. We focus on universal concepts—earning, saving, spending, and giving—without pushing a specific religious or political viewpoint. You decide which rewards, causes, and limits align with your family.
Do I need to be “good with money” to use this?
Not at all. Everything is scripted and age-appropriate. The parent prompts give you simple language you can read word-for-word, and you’ll likely learn new ways to talk about money alongside your kids.
How do I receive the product after I purchase?
We're currently taking PRE-ORDERS. Starting in March, you’ll get instant access to digital products via email with links to download the coloring book, storybook, game boards, and printables if you select digital copies. You can print them at home, at a local print shop, or use them digitally on a tablet.
For books and games that are physical or printed copies they will be shipped to you in 4-7 business days.
